Financial Operations Officer
Aria, a leading property finance group, seeks a Finance Operations Officer to join our Broking team, managing daily processes, reconciliations, and financial control for Aria Finance.
ENRA is a highly profitable specialist property finance group which has achieved consistent growth, driven by a strong management, a diversified product base, and clear focus on maintaining a strong balance sheet.
The finance team of 19 is currently organised on a product basis with dedicated teams responsible for Short Term lending, Term lending, Broking, FP&A and Group functions.
A new opportunity has arisen for a Finance Operations Officer to join the Broking finance team (team of 2), reporting to the Head of Group Finance. They will work in the team to support the Management Accountant for Broking to manage the daily finance processes and reconciliations of the Broking business (Aria Finance), which is a core product line for the Group.
Key Accountabilities
- Daily reconciliation of bank accounts, control reports, accounting ledgers and systems to ensure control is maintained on a daily basis
- Processing transactions from to bank to mortgage management system and ERP (NetSuite)
- Checking and setting up external payments to brokers
- Assist with month end close process in NetSuite
- Assist with the production of monthly management information packs and reports for business heads and directors
- Assist with Accounts Payable processing
- Other ad-hoc duties as and when required.
Skills & Competencies
- High quality written and verbal communication.
- Experience of accounting, transaction processing and bank reconciliations.
- Solid IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Knowledge & Qualifications
- Studying or aiming to study AAT or similar
- Sound understanding of accounting fundamentals.
- Understanding of financial controls
