Management Accountant
ENRA Specialist Finance are seeking a part-qualified Management Accountant to join the Short-Term Finance team, supporting accounting and reporting for bridging and development finance products.
ENRA is a highly profitable specialist property finance group which has achieved consistent growth, driven by a strong management, a diversified product base, and clear focus on maintaining a strong balance sheet.
The finance team of 21 is currently organized on a product basis with dedicated teams responsible for Short Term lending, Term lending, Commercial Lending, Broking, FP&A and Group functions.
A new opportunity has arisen for a part-qualified Management Accountant to join the Short-Term Finance team, reporting to the head of that team.
They will work in the team to assist with the accounting and reporting of Short-Term Products lending, which comprise of bridging and development finance lending, which are the core product lines for the Group, and has a current AUM of >£1bn.
Key Accountabilities
Ensure loans are recorded accurately and timely into the financial records.
Reconciliations between core operating systems and finance systems (NetSuite)
Maintenance and reconciliation of core finance schedules, including trade and collections blotters, the datatapes and other reconciliation tools.
Support cash management and loan disbursements and broker payments
Preparation of Short Term Reconciliations and working papers to assist with Month-end Close
Assist with all external reporting to FCA and banks
Assist with the annual/interim audits (CASS, AUP, Statutory etc.)
Assist with the production of monthly management information packs for Short term and other group entities
Coordination with and support to lending underwriting function
Assist with other departments in the company when required the contribution from finance
Other ad-hoc duties as and when required
Skills & Competencies
Attention to detail.
Logical and organised
Proactive and able to work on own initiative.
High quality written and verbal communication.
Solid IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Knowledge & Qualifications
Early stage or part-qualified accountant
Experience using an accounting systems, such as NetSuite
Experience within a financial services organisation would be an advantage
Strong academic background
