Key Accountabilities
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process across a variety of roles, from vacancy briefing through to offer acceptance and onboarding.
Partner with hiring managers to understand current and future hiring requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Provide market insight, talent mapping and recruitment advice to support informed hiring decisions.
Create engaging job adverts and candidate attraction campaigns across multiple sourcing channels.
Proactively source and engage passive candidates through direct search, networking and talent pooling activities.
Screen, assess and shortlist candidates against role requirements, competencies and cultural fit.
Coordinate and support interviews, assessment activities and selection processes.
Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey, maintaining regular communication and feedback.
Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles.
Work with hiring managers to reduce time-to-hire and improve recruitment efficiency.
Monitor recruitment performance metrics and provide regular reporting and insights to stakeholders.
Promote the organisation's employer brand through recruitment campaigns, networking events, careers fairs and social media activity.
Support early careers, graduate, apprenticeship and internship programmes where applicable.
Ensure recruitment processes remain compliant with employment legislation, internal policies and diversity, equity and inclusion principles.
Continuously review and improve recruitment processes, tools and systems to enhance effectiveness and candidate experience.
Support onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition from candidate to colleague.

Strong organisational and administrative skills with high attention to detail.
Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment technology.
Data-driven approach with the ability to analyse recruitment metrics and trends.
Knowledge of recruitment best practice, employment legislation and inclusive hiring principles.
Proactive, resilient and solutions-focused approach.
Ability to build credibility and trust with candidates and stakeholders at all levels.
Commitment to delivering an outstanding candidate and hiring manager experience.
Knowledge & Qualifications
Previous in-house recruitment or talent acquisition experience.
Experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes.
Knowledge of recruitment best practice and UK employment legislation.
Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience recruiting within financial services.
Personal Attributes
Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships at all levels of staff.
Self-motivated and proactive.
High level of organisation and able to meet deadlines.
